The Kawartha Dental Clinic Hosted a Free Day of Dentistry with Dentistry From The Heart
On September the 26th, 2015, Kawartha Dental Clinic hosted a day of free dentistry event to give back and help the underprivileged in our community who needed urgent dental care. Our doctors and staff volunteered to provide cleaning, fillings and extractions to anyone who couldn’t afford dental care. This was our way of giving back to the community that helped us thrive and become one of the most successful clinics in the Peterborough and Kawarthas.
Our staff and volunteers arrived the night before in preparation for an anticipated large group of patients. With the help of our local sponsors who contributed their time and resources, we were able to provide dental treatment to 170 patients worth over $55000.
Every member of our clinic was deeply overwhelmed by the gratitude and thankfulness of the patients. This endeavor would not have been possible without the support and dedication of our staff at the Kawartha Dental Clinic who selflessly volunteered their weekend and worked really hard all day long and went beyond the call of duty to provide the best care possible for every person who attended that day.
We were also blessed with the participation of our nurses from PRHC who helped with screening the patients and our security personnel who helped keep the process going so smoothly.
